What's On Tap!
This may be getting in over my head, but I will do my best to update this blog with the beers on tap and upcoming selections. Hopefully I can keep up!

Boundary Bay IPA (Bellingham, WA)

Site Description

Hands down one of our all-time best sellers! One of the hoppiest, most robust, citrusy IPAs to originate from the northwest, earning it the "always on tap" label at your friendly local neighborhood pub. If you love northwest hops, you will love this beer.

Hales Cream Ale (Spokane, WA)

Site Description

As its name implies Hales Cream Ale is a smooth, mellow, creamy ale. This brew is typically tapped on nitro for and extra smooth finish. In the mood for the lighter side, without all the CO2? Try a cream ale!

Wyder's Pear Cider

An excellent alternative for anyone with gluten concerns, or even if you're just looking for something out of the norm. A great way to cool down on or after a hot day, this brew is like a beer-pop: light, crisp, pear, refreshing!

Port Townsend Winter Ale (Port Townsend WA)

Our winter ale is made from a blend of pale and crystal malts, roasted barley and Belgian aromatic malts. Cooler fermentation and a longer aging time adds further complexity to this Old Ale style.

Original Gravity:1.070
Alcohol by Volume: 7.4%

CASK: North Sound ESB
Bitter Rain ESB

ESB stands for Extra Special Bitter.  Seven different kinds of grains give this beer a very interesting malt profile.  A balanced dose of Centennial and Goldings hops make this a very satisfying ESB.

Widmer Hefeweizen
UNCOMPROMISED & UNFILTERED

Meet the beer that started it all. Our naturally cloudy flagship brew starts with the highest quality wheat. It's bold, clean flavor and pronounced citrus and floral aromas are what define American-style Hefeweizen. So pour yourself a cool, cloudy glass, finish with a lemon and enjoy the original.

American Red
Ed's Red
This American Style Amber/Red Ale is a dark amber color with a pleasing, moderately hoppy, citrusy aroma.  Roasty flavor up front with subtle nutty or even caramel tones to finish.
ABV: 5.0%  IBU:40  Color: 35 SRM

Deschutes Abyss Imp. Stout

A deep, dark Imperial Stout, The Abyss has almost immeasurable depth and complexity. Hints of molasses, licorice and other alluring flavors make it something not just to quaff, but contemplate.

As for the great "drink it now or let it age" debate, we stand clearly on the fence. Distinct and delicious on release, the flavors meld and fuse into an entirely different pleasure a year on.

Sixth release - November 15, 2011!

American IPA
This American Style India pale Ale is a true Northwest IPA; a bold hop aroma with a floral and citrus note.  Its color is a dark honey or amber tone.  The flavors are characterized by a mdeium intense hop bitterness that is well balanced with a citrus (grapefruit) flavor and aroma along with a mild malty sweetness.  Your senses score big time with this ale!
ABV: 7.2%   IBU: 90   Color: 20 SRM

Mac & Jacks Amber

Brewed in Seattle, and available only by the keg, this Pacific Northwest beer is unpasturized and unfilterd. Creamy, hoppy and delicious, no visit to the great beer city of Seattle is complete with out a couple of pints of this magnificent amber ale.

Mac & Jacks Cascadian Dark

Appearance is walnut brown and translucent, with red hues.

Smell is sharp and acerbic, a blend of pine and vinegar

Taste is a mix of roasted grain and pine or juniper flavors.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and mildly carbonated.

Drinkable but the taste is a bit off. The acerbic quality might taste like stomach acid after a while.

North Sound Stout

Slainte (pronounced Shlon-cha) is the Irish word for cheers!  This creamy, smooth, dark beauty has ample amounts of caramel, roasted and chocolate malts giving it its complex flavorful body. Can you taste Toffee?

Diamond Knot X-IPA

The surly Big Brother of our regular IPA!  Dark copper in color, a distinct malty sweetness followed by an intensely hoppy middle.  A floral  finish imparted by the Dry Hop will leave you begging for another.

Anacortes Porter

Rich, dark ale with complex flavor from four malts and three hop varieties. Chocolate malt dominates taste and color in this otherwise balanced brew. Made with Columbus, Perle and Cascade hops.

Roger's Pilsner
For normal people:
Darn Tasty Pilsner

For beer lovers
Yakima grown Czechoslovakian Sterling hops give this refreshing pilsner a spicy and earthy hop aroma. Malt character is accentuated by a German Lager Yeast that ferments dry but round and complex.

For beer geeks
2-row pale malt, Sterling hops. IBU's 25. Original gravity 1.044 (11 Plato). Finishing gravity 1.008 (2 Plato). German Lager Yeast. Alcohol by volume: 4.7%.

Mac & Jacks Two Tun IPA

Mac & Jack's IPA is a refreshing, smooth, & balanced India Pale Ale. Using a variety of specialty malts and plenty of locally grown Yakima valley hops, we have created an IPA that has great hop flavor without being bitter. Pale roasted malts give our IPA a deep golden hue, and solid malt backbone, which nicely compliments its crisp hop finish. Copious quantities of hops are added very late in the boil giving the beer its floral aroma and hop forward character.
